Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with learning, both individually and in small groups

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and preparing learning materials

• Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive engagement

• Support children with SEN, additional learning needs, or specific interventions

• Supervise students during activities, breaks, and exam situations

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress monitoring

Skills & Qualities:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting children

• Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidance from teaching staff

• Organised, reliable, and proactive in supporting learning needs

• Experience working with children is desirable but not essential; training will be provided

Qualifications:

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

• QTS or relevant education/childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
