Carmichaels are seeking a Site Engineer with structures experience to work on the HS2 project in Northamptonshire. As a Site Engineer, you will oversee junior engineers on site and assist with construction operations. You will collaborate with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, equipment, and materials to meet required standards, schedules, and budgets. Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving technical issues in coordination with the senior team and Sub Agent. You will also monitor and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work meets contractual requirements. Additionally, you will ensure the team has all necessary information and resources to perform their duties, assist in producing schedules, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
