Known for their high levels of service, stylish indoor and outdoor product ranges, and growing reputation for plant installations in homes and commercial spaces, they''ve carved out a distinct identity in the market.Day-to-day management of the store''s operations and team.Take ownership of rotas, staffing levels, performance assessments, and one-to-ones.Ensure the store is consistently well-stocked and visually appealing.Coach and support staff on service and sales skills, product knowledge, and team development.Oversee stock levels, deliveries, and in-store merchandising - especially around plant deliveries and replenishment.Report on performance KPIs and assist with recruitment and onboarding of new team members.Great horticultural knowledge.Experience leading teams in a retail or hospitality environment (garden centre experience is welcome but not essential).Organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on retail setting.Physically fit and happy to work alongside the team - this is not a back-office role.Comfortable managing team performance and driving standards.Work alongside a passionate, supportive, and close-knit management team.Training and mentoring from hands-on business partners.Join a values-led, community-focused independent business with a strong local following.
