SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time Location: Lancaster areaStart Date: ASAPHours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to FridayContract: Until at least Easter (with potential to extend) Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs?A large and highly supportive SEN School in the Lancaster area is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. You will be working within a secondary-aged class, supporting students with a range of additional needs and helping them to access learning in a safe, structured and nurturing environment. The Role: Providing 1:1 and small group support to SEN pupilsAssisting with learning activities set by the class teacherSupporting emotional regulation, communication and engagementContributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environmentCarrying out personal care duties when required Requirements: Experience working with SEN children in a school or care settingExperience working with upper KS2 and/or secondary-aged childrenWilling and able to carry out personal care if/when requiredClear DBS on the Update ServiceAvailable full time immediatelyAble to complete Reed''s compliance process without delay Why Apply?
