We are recruiting for a Qualified Quantity Surveyor to join an expanding business with offices in Yorkshire and the North East. This is a busy, hands-on role working alongside another QS.Responsibilities:Conducting feasibility studies to determine project viabilityPreparing cost estimates, budgets, and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ)Managing the tender process, selecting contractors, and negotiating contractsMonitoring, controlling, and reporting on project costs to prevent budget overrunsValuing completed work and approving payments to subcontractors and suppliersManaging contractual risks, variations, and disputesLiaising with architects, engineers, and clientsEnsuring compliance with health, safety, and building regulationsAdvising on sustainability, life cycle costs, and value managementCandidate Requirements:Excellent organisational and time management skillsAttention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressureProactive, motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a teamBenefits:Working on large-scale, high-profile projectsDynamic and collaborative working ..... full job details .....
