Field based / London and Central SouthernMAIN PURPOSE:To undertake minor refurbishment work and repairs for service customers, as well as some routine servicing.KEY ACTIVITIES:On site working predominantly in the south of England and in central LondonMaintenance works / alterations / plumbingSmall works / refurbishment projectsTo undertake comprehensive pool surveys which follow a specific formatTo undertake initial site inspections to determine problems and liaise with service manager over how to overcome these so client can be quoted accordinglyTo assist the service manager with managing refurbishment and small works projects where necessary and procurement of specific or specialist parts where applicableFault finding and resolving problems / electrical and mechanicalAiding contracts team when required or as service schedule allows in general swimming pool installations and commissioning worksGeneral other on site works as requiredService assistance / call outs if requiredLiaising/ interacting with clients and or housekeepersOpening up / closing down outdoor pools at the beginning / end of the seasonServicing of indoor and outdoor swimming pools and all associated plant where sickness or annual leave may requireLiaising / interacting with clients and or housekeepersChecking correct operation of equipment in the plant room and in pool hall including automatic coversCarrying out water sample testingOpening up / closing down outdoor pools at the beginning / end of the seasonManual and automatic chemistry correction and associated maintenance of automatic dosing equipment or treatment plantKEY SKILLS REQUIREDPrevious experience in swimming pool servicingTo be well presentedAbility to communicate detailed and accurate informationBuild good working relationships with other parties both internal and externalFull and clean driving license
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONSExperience in automatic chemical dosing systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsBasic understanding of electricsLondon driving experiencePool construction and or plumbing experienceElectrical experienceTiling experienceLevel 3 City and Guilds Electrical installation18th Edition Wiring RegulationsIf you think this is the job for you then your personal attributes will include: being practically minded; a logical thinker, adaptable, hardworking, organised and conscientious.
