This is a full-time, term-time only role, ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them thrive within the classroom environment.

Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide targeted academic and emotional support to students with additional learning needs, both in and outside of the classroom.
• Assist the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and resilience.
• Work one-to-one or with small groups to help students access the curriculum and reach their potential.
• Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure students’ progress is monitored and their needs are met effectively.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting young people in an educational or care setting (experience with SEN is highly desirable).
• Is calm, patient, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for education and making a difference.
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
