Business Development Executive Full-Time UK - £28 - £30k Basic + Uncapped Bonus Business Development and Sales Aerospace Defence Electronics Engineering Manufacturing About the opportunity Our Client, a growing UK engineering, aerospace and defence supply group is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to help identify, develop and convert new business opportunities. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships and turning conversations into genuine sales opportunities. Working closely with senior commercial leadership, you will support the full sales pipeline, from lead generation and customer engagement through to quotations and follow-up. What you ll do In this role, you will: Making warm calls to existing customers, prospects and previous contacts Making targeted cold calls to uncover new business opportunities Identifying and developing opportunities across the organisation s capabilities Generating leads through calls, email, research and proactive outreach Follow up leads from senior commercial colleagues and progress them into opportunities Preparing and issuing quotations for inbound enquiries and proactive opportunities Following up quotations and enquiries to improve conversion Building strong relationships with current and prospective customers Arrange customer meetings and visits for senior commercial colleagues Attending or leading occasional customer visits when required Representing ..... full job details .....
