We are looking for a Head Chef and we are working with a leading Contract Catering company for Private Education site in Reading, this operation caters for both daily feeding as well as boarders.

YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN TRANSPORT FOR THIS ROLE DUE TO LOCATION

This is primarily a Monday to Friday role but some weekends will be required - approx 16-17 per year mainly Saturdays. The shift pattern will be 6mostly day shifts but some evenings may be required

The Head Chef and work in a kitchen team of around 6 Chefs so will need good management skills and communication skills. You will be working on a 3 weekly rotating menu and ensure all food prepared and presented to the required high standards

The kitchen will cater for around 100 for breakfast, 400 for lunch and 150 for dinner per day for both students and staff, there will also be hospitality events and functions as required. The Head Chef will need experience in cooking for large numbers on a daily basis. An Education or Contract Catering background would also be well suited to this role.
