Base Place of WorkCandidate will be based at 61 Southwark Street London SE1 OHL, however will be required to travel to customer sites within the UK, mainly centred around London and the home counties.
Working Away From HomeCandidate must be flexible and be able to work away from home when required, sometimes at short notice to facilitate TandT Customer project/operational support requirements.
Travel Requirements and ExpensesCandidate must be able to travel UK-wide by public transport or use own vehicle. Travel to CBRE-TandT Customers is required to facilitate Technology Project-Support/Operational Management duties. Travel expenses are provided/reimbursed by CBRE-TandT in arrears as per approved expenses log app.
Reporting StructureDirectly reports to – UK Technology Director
Budgetary ResponsibilitiesWill not have direct budgetary responsibilities but will assist the Technology Director with customer quotes, estimates, customer account financial queries and internal CBRE-TandT project financial queries. Will ensure technology project-support financial information is inputted and updated in internal systems.
Key Role Responsibilities
Completing and assisting the UK Technology Director with new or existing technology sales, technology project surveys, estimations, quotations and project/support delivery''s
Completing and assisting the UK Technology Director with technology solutions, designs and implementation
Completing and assisting the UK Technology Director with any required technology operational support
Provide high level technology guidance and support for all CBRE-TandT/CBRE DCS UK Divisions for design, implementation and updating/upgrading software or hardware platforms as well as general technology support
Managing several customer project/support works both directly and indirectly simultaneously
Assisting the UK Technology Director with the provision and implementation of technology management and relevant compliance governance assistance for CBRE-TandT/CBRE/ CBRE Supported Customers across all UK CBRE DCS Business Units
Responsible for being the initial 1st point of escalation/contact for all technology support/information for CBRE TandT/CBRE Senior Key Stakeholders within CBRE as also CBRE local customer site management teams
Responsible for providing technology support and management for CBRE customers'' platforms and networks and provide innovations as well as improving customer operational solutions via project implementation/delivery
Assisting the UK Technology Director with managing technology related new contracts transitions tasks and assist the transition managers when required
Completing and assisting the UK Technology Director with the completion of any/all technology compliance/project/support documentation in relation to pre/post project/support implementation/delivery
Capable of working on simultaneous aggressive deadlines for both CBRE-TandT/CBRE customers as well as internal CBRE-TandT/CBRE staff to ensure project delivery timelines are adhered to
Capable of continuous triaging of risk assessing/self-prioritising multiple work streams/tasks at once
Capable of facilitating component level technology support for CBRE-TandT/CBRE staff and customers in relation to any technology related incidents
Understanding of technology networks design and functionality from cabling and hardware level
Good knowledge and understanding of Windows Server and Windows 10 and 11 operating systems
Capable of using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Responsible for creating, reviewing, updating, approving various technology project/operational related documentation
Experience with working within Data Centre environments (minimum 2 years)
Understanding of various compliance standards including ISO27001, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO50001, ISO20000 and ensuring adherence during project work
Experience working on Security Technology projects delivering CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, P.I.D.S, I.D.S new installation or upgrades
