We deliver tailored solutions that address our clients’ key challenges, combining our project expertise with programme delivery capabilities and advisory services. APD delivers services to projects ranging in scale and complexity up to £20bn, through the technical disciplines of programme management, project management, project controls, scheduling, cost management, estimating, infrastructure finance, management consulting, digital consulting and education, health and care management.Overview Of The RoleKey responsibilities and duties include:Developing bespoke procurement and contract strategiesProviding commercial advice to clients and colleagues in respect to optimising engagement with supply chainsProviding advice to clients on procurement strategy, market engagement, contract selection, scheduling and resourcing of procurement activities and selection criteriaDesigning delivery structures and target contract modelsDetermining client and supply chain capability and capacity to inform strategy developmentAnalysis of current and future suppliers and their resilienceEstablishing supply chain management processes and systemsReview of procurement and supply chain systems to provide confidence and insightManaging procurement processes and the delivery of procurement activities as a specialist consultant service to clientsProviding support and advice on complex or challenging processes as requiredProviding oversight and intervention throughout a procurement process to identify and resolve current or future issuesEmbedding sustainability measures throughout the supply chain, including capture and reporting of sustainability performance informationCandidate specificationEssentialStrong track record of delivering strategic procurement; experience of infrastructure projects is an advantageProviding oversight and intervention throughout a procurement process to identify and resolve current or future issuesEmbedding sustainability measures throughout the supply chain, including capture and reporting of sustainability performance informationKnowledge of UK public sector procurement regulations and contractsTrack record of delivering social valueDesirableMCIPS qualified or RICS desirable or equivalentAbility to manage internal resource plans, budgets, reports, and undertake other administrative and business administration activities as necessaryUK ImmigrationMott MacDonald Ltd. are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK.
