Part Time Finance Director (2-3 days - negotiable - this founder-led Political Consultancy in London advises senior management and organisations across the international Political, Government, Defence and NFP sectors. Projects are of multi-million-pound value and can be conducted long term over several years. As a result of recent growth, the business is seeking to appoint a Part Time Finance Director, to work closely with the Founder/CEO. This role will include:Support the CEO with decision making within a complex operating modelContribute to and shape effective financial governanceManage cash flow and funding drawdowns from a variety of sourcesSupport relationships with key external stakeholders and fundersLiaise with advisors regarding statutory, tax, risk and regulatory requirements.Manage complex intercompany issues across group and associated companiesManage the accountant/bookkeeper, accounting for various entitiesProvide management information, management accounts and project analysisConsistent review of project performance and company performanceManage forecasting and budgeting, reporting and analysis.Where appropriate, ensure compliance with charity SORP requirementsOversee ad hoc issues such as insurance and ITAdvise Directors on loan accounts, personal tax issues and future tax planningThis part time Finance Director role will require a high-calibre experienced qualified accountant, both hands-on and strategic, with a strong work ethic and the capability to work ..... full job details .....
