This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Civil Engineering graduate looking to begin their career within structural engineering, gaining hands-on design experience while working alongside experienced engineers. The Role As a Graduate Civil Engineer /Structural Engineer, you will initially join an experienced engineering team where you will receive training and mentoring while developing your technical knowledge. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with structural design and calculations Developing structural schemes and solutions Working on residential refurbishment and bespoke new-build projects Designing structural elements from first principles Coordinating designs with architects and clients Preparing designs and technical information for drawings Producing calculation packages Attending site visits Discussing design changes and ideas with the engineering team Managing your workload and reporting on project progress As your experience develops, you will be given greater responsibility for your own projects while continuing to receive support from senior engineers.
