We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team and contribute to the academic and personal development of their students.

Job Description: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and social development of students. You will work closely with teachers, providing assistance in lesson planning, delivery, and assessment, and taking on responsibility for leading classes and small groups when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the planning and preparation of lessons.
• Deliver tailored learning activities to individual students or small groups.
• Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher.
• Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Mark and assess students'' work, providing feedback to support their progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure the well-being and academic success of students.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• No formal qualification is essential.
• A Level 3 qualification relating to children, education, or childcare would be beneficial, but is not required.
• Candidates with relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with children, particularly within an educational setting, would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and empathetically.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
