Payroll Administrator
Job Type: Full-time, TemporaryLocation: Guildhall, EC2V 7HHRate: £20.86 per hour PAYE / £27.80 per hour UmbrellaThe City of London Corporation are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join the project team on an interim basis. This role is focused on project-related payroll activities, including testing, process development, data validation and stakeholder coordination, to ensure a smooth transition to a new payroll system. You will work in a fast-paced project setting alongside colleagues in Payroll, HR, Finance, IT and external system partners.Key responsibilitiesSupport the payroll implementation project through process mapping, workflow documentation and identification of system changesAssist with the creation, testing and refinement of payroll processes aligned to the new systemParticipate in system testing activities, including UAT and parallel runsLog, track and support resolution of system defectsValidate payroll data during migration and testing phases to ensure accuracy and integrityProduce and maintain project documentation such as process guides, user instructions and test scriptsSupport issue resolution during testing, escalating where appropriateAssist with reporting and outputs used for project tracking and validationSupport system controls and access management during implementationPrepare training materials and assist with knowledge transfer to end usersUndertake data checks and reconciliations to support assurance and audit requirementsProvide general ..... full job details .....
