We have a fantastic opportunity to join Sovereign Network Group (SNG) as a Senior Technical Surveyor. You’ll be based from our office in Wembley – London or Hertfordshire, with a mix of office and home working to support a positive work/life balance. SNG brings together Sovereign and Network Homes to provide over 84,000 homes and invest in communities across London and the South of England, delivering quality affordable homes and places that people love for generations.Role responsibilities include supporting and guiding the surveying team in delivering high-quality maintenance services, overseeing complex repairs, managing technical operations, contributing to strategic improvements, and leading a team of Maintenance Surveyors while supporting the Technical Manager.Responsibilities

Oversee complex repairs, major works, and high-risk projects, ensuring recommendations align with policy and standardsConduct technical audits and support implementation of electronic surveying systems across teamsAct as the key point of contact for escalated technical queries, contractor management, and consultant coordinationManage and guide the Maintenance Surveyor team, promoting performance and continuous improvementEnsure resident engagement is effective and that technical services meet customer satisfaction targetsWhat We Need From You

Minimum HNC in a building-related subject or equivalent technical qualificationExtensive experience in technical surveying within housing, maintenance, or constructionStrong knowledge of housing law, compliance requirements, and building regulationsDemonstrated ability to lead a team and provide expert mentoring on complex defect diagnosisExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including resident engagementBenefits
