energy optimisation, photovoltaic (PV) implementation, and financial modelling

Role PurposeWe are seeking an

Energy Design Engineer

to lead energy audits, design efficient building systems, and prepare investment-grade proposals for performance improvements across commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out

energy audits

and collect building performance data.

Identify opportunities for

energy efficiency and carbon reduction .

Develop

investment-grade proposals

with financial and technical justification.

Produce

detailed designs and specifications

for:

HVAC systems

Heat pumps

Building Management Systems (BMS)

Write clear

technical specifications

for project delivery.

Support implementation through

Energy Performance Contracts (EPCs)

and detailed design development.

Requirements

-5 years’ experience in mechanical design , specifically

designing mechanical installations .

Proven background in

building energy design

(HVAC/BMS/heat pump systems).

Strong technical and specification writing skills.

Ability to translate

energy audits into practical, design-ready solutions .

Knowledge of sustainability and

energy efficiency standards .
