Temporary HR Coordinator / HR Officer - Legal Department £18phr

Tolworth | Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days remote)

Monday to Friday | Full-time | Temporary Contract-3 months

We''re delighted to be supporting one of our long-standing clients, a highly respected and well-known international retail head office based in Tolworth, in their search for a Temporary HR Coordinator or HR Advisor to join their Legal Department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that truly values its people. You''ll play a key part in supporting the HR and Legal teams with a range of operational and advisory tasks, ensuring smooth processes and effective communication across the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries within the Legal Department.
  • Support end-to-end HR administration, including onboarding, contracts, and leaver processes.
  • Coordinate and minute meetings, track actions, and assist in departmental planning.
  • Maintain and update the department''s risk catalogue and other compliance-related records.
  • Support performance reviews, training coordination, and policy documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to employment legislation and company policies.
  • Collaborate with central HR and payroll teams to ensure efficient processes.
  • Provide general administrative and project support as required.

About You

  • Previous experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Advisor, or in a similar HR role.
  • A solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, able to build strong working relationships across teams.
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience working within a corporate, legal, or head office environment would be advantageous.
