Location: South of England (including London & South East)
Salary: -45,000 - -55,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established workforce solutions provider supporting major UK infrastructure and construction projects. With over 30 years'' experience, they supply high-performing, compliant blue-collar labour across sectors including rail, civil engineering, highways, and utilities.
They are now seeking a Regional Key Account Manager to lead key client relationships across the South of England-ensuring excellent service delivery and identifying new opportunities to support continued growth.
The Role
As a Regional Key Account Manager, you will manage strategic accounts across your region, ensuring timely and compliant workforce delivery. This is a client-facing role with around 80% focus on account management and 20% on business development.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management (80%)
- Act as the primary contact for major accounts within your region
- Build strong relationships with commercial teams, site managers, and project leads
- Attend regular site visits and client meetings to assess performance and identify new opportunities
- Liaise with internal compliance, operations, and recruitment teams to ensure efficient workforce deployment
- Track KPIs, support contract reviews, and promote high standards of safety and service
Business Development (20%)
- Identify new client opportunities within construction, infrastructure, rail, and civils
- Promote workforce solutions to prospective clients through meetings, introductions, and networking
- Support pre-qualifications, tenders, and onboarding for new projects
- Represent the business at trade events and forums
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in key account management or business development
- Knowledge of construction, recruitment, or labour supply industries
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with a solutions-driven approach
- Willing to travel regionally for site and client meetings
Collaboration & Territory
You''ll work closely with:
- Regional business development and operations teams
- Labour supply managers and senior leadership
Your area will cover the South of England, with alignment to national workforce delivery capability.
