Based in a brand new purpose-built office in Leeds city centre, you will join a forward-thinking organisation that prioritises your personal development.As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions for our prestigious clients. You will leverage your expertise in Azure and Infrastructure as Code to deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments. Minimum of 3 years'' extensive experience with Azure cloud services, including advanced resource management, networking, and security implementationsHands-on experience with scripting and automation tools such as TerraformStrong knowledge of PowerShell scriptingExperience managing TeamCity - creating pipelines, setting permissions and upgrading the system.Confident in using Octopus Deploy - cloning projects, configuring deployment targets, updating deployment pipelines and managing SSL certificate renewalsAdvanced troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues in production environmentsComfortable working across both Windows and Linux server environments.Familiar with server migration processes, including DNS updates, access configuration and system decommissioning.Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutionsExperience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team knowledge growthExcellent project estimation capabilities with a history of delivering complex projects on timeStrong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilitiesDesirable Qualifications
Competent in SQL for basic querying and support of database-driven applications.Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applicationsKnowledge of cost optimisation strategies for cloud resourcesAzure certifications, such as AZ104 Azure Administrator AssociateExperience with infrastructure monitoring tools and configBackground in implementing disaster recovery and high-availability solutions for critical systemsStrong background in cloud security principles and implementation of security controls in Azure environmentsQualifications
