Head Waiter

to join our front-of-house team. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in delivering confident, knowledgeable, and engaging service, while guiding and inspiring your team to consistently exceed expectations.This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile hospitality brand known for its elevated dining experiences, theatrical service style, and energetic guest atmosphere.As a Head Waiter at The MAINE, you will:Lead a section of the restaurant with confidence, setting the tone for professional, warm, and refined service

Deliver memorable guest experiences in line with The MAINEs standards and service ethos

Guide and mentor Commis Waiters and Chef de Rang team members, supporting their development and performance

Maintain strong knowledge of the food and beverage offering, including ingredients, preparation methods, and appropriate pairings

Execute and uphold the sequence of service, ensuring timing, communication, and guest flow are managed smoothly

Ensure all areas, tools, and service stations are set, maintained, and operating efficiently throughout service

Monitor the condition of the dining space, flagging any maintenance or operational issues

Support floor management with day-to-day duties including briefings, section allocations, and guest recovery

Were Looking for Someone Who:Has previous experience in a Head Waiter, Senior Chef de Rang, or similar supervisory role in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel

A strong understanding of fine dining etiquette and guest expectations in a premium environment

Has confident knowledge of wine and beverage service;

WSET or similar training is a Bonus

Is a natural leader, with the ability to support and inspire a junior team while remaining hands-on

Is a strong communicator with impeccable grooming, poise, and professionalism

Is adaptable and calm under pressure, with great organisational skills and attention to detail

Has a passion for hospitality and a desire to grow within a dynamic, service-led operation
