TK ElevatorWe are looking for an Escalator Site Supervisor to join our growing HS2 division, based mostly at the Old Oak Common Station and then ad hoc days in our Aldgate offices in London, reporting to the Senior Project Manager and/or Site Manager.As an Escalator Site Supervisor, your day to day will:Health and Safety and Quality Assurance
Maintain a safe working environment through regular workplace inspections and preventive actions.Ensure full compliance with TKE health and safety policies.Attend site health and safety meetings and ensure daily briefings and Job preparation documents are conducted.Manage site works in accordance with TKE Quality Manual, ensuring Installation, testing and commissioning, and hand over activities are done and controlled as per TKE Inspection and Test Plans.Site Planning and Preparation
Ensure that all aspects of the installation works are planned and managed with professional Health and Safety management as the primary goal.Carry out regime of pre-installation site checks and ensure that the Escalators pits/ shafts and related area surveys are carried out and recorded.Arrange suitable and secure material offloading, storage and handling facilities on or off-site.Report in writing either via the Site Manager or Sr. PM on any omissions or deficiencies that prevent TKE site commencement.Keep a detailed record of all correspondence and significant events that occur on site and that affect the interests of TKE.Liaise with the Site Manager or Sr. Project Manager on Programme Accuracy, Materials, Labour and Tool resource requirements.Site Escalator Installation Work Management
Supervise all aspects of the site installation, from commencement through to commissioning, handover to the client and handover to the Service Department.Co-ordinate allocated installation teams in accordance with the programme requirements and physical site progress.Prepare, customise and updated method statements and risk assessments including all site specific information as required.Plan all local supply required deliveries to site, including tooling, consumables and others.Assets Test Preparation and Site Closure
Ensure that all installation work, including signage is done before the test engineer arrives.Coordinate field manpower availability to assist the Test Engineer with test weights and as required for other support during the test process.Manage close-out of all defects. and co-ordinate and secure the successful Handover of the Escalators to the Service Department.Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years direct experience in Escalator installation and commissioning works in the UKNVQ3 in Escalator InstallationCSCSSSSTSPreferable experience in major infrastructure projectsLifting competent person/Appointed personTemporary Works CoordinatorSentinelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to use your initiative and champion teamworkPositive attitude and receptive to changeExtremely organisedNegotiation skillsAn advocate for HandS regulations in the workplaceWhat we offer
