Senior Accountant Location: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home) Reporting to: Financial Controller The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team, supporting the UK business and a number of EMEA entities. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a broad and varied role encompassing financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit management, team leadership, and finance transformation projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information while driving continuous improvement across the finance function. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to major business initiatives, including ERP implementation and process enhancement projects. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Control Lead the month-end close process for assigned UK and EMEA entities. Prepare and review monthly management accounts and annual financial statements. Oversee revenue recognition, cash flow reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. Deliver detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior-year performance. Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Identify financial risks and opportunities through detailed analysis and review. Team Leadership Manage, mentor and develop a team of finance professionals.
