About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional-HGV Class 1 Day Driver-to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.- Our primary objective is to supply our customers with steel products using our own transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with all road traffic legislation and company procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Deliver and collect goods accurately and on time.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
• Complete all delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Maintain excellent communication with the transport office.
• Comply with drivers'' hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations.
• Keep vehicles clean, tidy, and roadworthy.

What We''re Looking For

• Full UK HGV Class 1 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid Felixstowe Port RHIDES card
• Flatbed and Sheeting experience
• Experience with curtain sider and slider trailers
• A positive attitude with excellent time management skills.
