Senior Manager – Payroll Service Delivery at Mace. The role leads and oversees Mace Consults international payroll service delivery in collaboration with UK and European payroll vendors, acting as the primary liaison between Mace and our external payroll vendor network to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The role also manages a team of internal payroll specialists.You’ll Be Responsible For
Managing the payroll service delivery for UK, European and expat/shadow payrolls.Being the primary point of contact with Mace\''s external payroll providers, monitoring service levels through the implementation of SLA\''s (service level agreements) and KPI\''s (key performance indicators) to ensure delivery standards/contractual obligations are met.Coordinating and managing business reviews with external vendors (e.g., quarterly business reviews).Supporting the set-up of new payrolls in new Mace jurisdictions, providing technical/functional expertise.Building and developing a strong working relationship with the HR services team around processes and continuous improvements to support best practice delivery.Managing internal, external and client audits, developing action plans to resolve issues in a timely manner.Developing payroll reporting and analytics capabilities, including delivering performance metrics in line with managed service vendors.Managing the resolution of Tier 2 (HR cases via MyHR) payroll queries with external vendors.Collaborating with HR services, reward, tax and finance teams to ensure payroll delivery and compliance.Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement and working with HR technology to implement them.Managing payroll risks using a control risk framework.Collaborating on transformation projects within HR and cross-functional transformation; acting as SME on payroll issues.Coordinating and leading benefit transactional delivery for UK and Northern Europe.Accountable for the completion of monthly financial reporting relating to payroll reconciliation activities.Managing the Payroll team, providing leadership, coaching and development, and ensuring team KPIs are met.Working with stakeholders to deliver the payroll portfolio strategy/plans for the business area.Support for net zero carbon transition and proactive management of associated carbon emissions during delivery of work.You’ll Need To Have
Multiple country payroll and benefits knowledge is essential.Experience in a managed service environment.Benefits administration and transactional experience.Payroll accounting knowledge and exposure.Operational payroll processing knowledge.Payroll and benefits compliance knowledge.Understand tax requirements for new jurisdictions and regulatory changes affecting payroll.You’ll Also Have
Multiple payroll and benefit country experience.New payroll country setups.Project management experience.Local country compliance experience.CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) certified or relevant payroll experience.Mace is an inclusive employer
