We are seeking a passionate and dedicated
Business and Economics Teacher
to join a highly regarded, faith-based secondary school and sixth form in East London. The school is known for its strong community ethos, high academic standards, and a supportive environment where both staff and students are encouraged to achieve their best.
The school provides a broad and balanced curriculum with a particular emphasis on developing young people into confident, ambitious, and responsible citizens. Staff are supported with ongoing professional development, and the school fosters a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
The role
Deliver engaging and challenging Business and Economics lessons across KS4 and KS5
Inspire and motivate students to achieve excellent outcomes
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Maintain high standards of classroom management and pastoral support
Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote best practice across the department
The ideal candidate will have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A proven track record of teaching Business and Economics at secondary level
A valid
DBS registered on the Update Service
Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to plan creative, inspiring lessons
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
