Site Manager Required In North London

GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor, based in London, who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team.

As a main contractor, they specialise in residential and care schemes across North London that typically range from -5m to -10m.

The Site Manager must have/be:

• Proven experience delivering refurbishment and new build projects
• Strong background working for a main contractor
• Ability to use Delta Document Control and MS Project
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in Site Management
• Ability to oversee day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
• Strong health & safety awareness and site compliance knowledge
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work
• Experience working on residential and care projects is advantageous

Key Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

• Monitor and manage all works to ensure quality of workmanship is of the highest standard
• Work alongside the commercial team to ensure the project is delivered successfully
• Management, control and mitigation of all risks relating to site activities
• Maintain accurate and timely project documentation
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities
• Maintain strong relationships with the client and consultant team
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times
• Deliver the project to programme and quality expectations
