Our client, a boutique long only asset manager, is looking to hire an Equity Analyst.This role will involve generating and researching potential investment ideas. Working as part of a small, you will be working closely with a group of experienced fund managers and actively involved in the investment debate.Key responsibilities:Identify investment opportunity through detailed company, sector and market analysisConstruct financial models and financial analysisDevelop and maintain investment idea generation screensArrange and attend company meetingsCandidate Profile:Degree from a top tier university (no degree subject constraints)Relevant experience in the field of investingGenuine interest in and knowledge of financial marketsPreferably working towards CFA or recently completed ACA qualificationStrong numerical and analytical problem solving skillsConfidence and skills to present own views and opinionsMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
