Support Worker (Children and Young People) Location: UxbridgeSalary: up to 28,500 per annum (DOE)Full-time Rolling rota (includes sleep-ins) We are recruiting an experienced Support Worker to join an Ofsted-registered residential home supporting seven non-verbal children and young people. The home currently supports a mixed household of four girls and three boys, with two young people requiring 2:1 support. This role is ideal for someone with a QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent, who is passionate about making a positive impact in young people''s lives. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality care, promoting the health, welfare, education and development of young people. Contribute to a safe, supportive and homely environment where young people feel secure and valued. Support daily routines, including household tasks, appointments, education, leisure activities and family contact. Build positive relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries. Assist with keyworker responsibilities, contributing to care plans and progress reviews. Apply de-escalation and behaviour management strategies when required. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, social workers and external professionals. Participate in training and professional development, including undertaking the Diploma Level 4 in Residential Childcare (sponsored after probation).
