NASC aims to enhance industry standards and develop professionals, ensuring safety and efficiency in construction projects nationwide. The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) is the UK recognised scaffolders training scheme, with over 60,000 cardholders in the UK and over 20,000 overseas. NASC is responsible for its direction and administration.Role Overview:
The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of CISRS accreditation and serving as the first point of contact for customer service at CISRS training centres. The manager will collaborate closely with:The Head of Finance and Operations to maintain the integrity of centre quality and learning outcomes, utilising NASC database systems and contributing to digitisation projects.The Head of Training and Education to provide feedback for continuous improvement and support strategic delivery of CISRS.The CISRS Compliance Team auditors to keep centre accreditations current and uphold training standards for CISRS Card Holders.Key Responsibilities:
Operational management of CISRS centre audits
Maintain audit schedules for national and international centresCoordinate audit bookings with centres and auditorsArrange travel following NASC policiesGenerate invoices and follow up on paymentsRecord audit outcomes and issue certificationsMaintenance of CISRS training centre records
Update records with new course accreditationsEnsure centre details are accurate on the CISRS websiteCreate and maintain CISRS dashboards with statistical dataMaintenance of CISRS instructor records
Process applications for instructor upgradesUpdate instructor records accordinglyProcessing new training centre enquiries and applications
Review applications and arrange pre-accreditation visitsCoordinate full audits and update records upon accreditationAdministration of proprietary course materials
Manage printed course materials and liaise with printersGenerate invoices and monitor stock levelsDistribute updated materials via online portalOversee CISRS card holder appeals
Manage the appeal process and establish proceduresDelegate approvals and escalate as necessaryGeneral Responsibilities:
Line management of CISRS ExecutiveAttend events supporting CISRS as neededSupport NASC and CISRS operations and marketingProvide management information and operational support to the Head of Training and EducationKey Skills and Experience:
Essential:Proven administrative and people management experienceExcellent written and verbal communication in EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookSelf-motivated with initiative and prioritisation skillsExperience managing database information systemsDesirable:Knowledge of quality management systems like ISO9001Experience with Sage accounting softwarePersonal Attributes:

This is a full-time on-site role. After a successful 6-month probation, flexible working arrangements may be considered according to NASC policy.
