Network Engineer Hybrid working 2 or 3 days per week in Reading, Berkshire offices My client are a top UK Life Sciences organisation and are looking to hire 2x Network Engineers to be based out of their Reading offices. These are new IT roles and will involve designing, building and implementing new Network, Telephony and IT Server Systems from scratch for this prestigious company In this role, you will be responsible for the stability and integrity of data, video, and wireless network services. The Network Engineer will work as part of a small team planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the UK organization. In this role you will also participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. A key part of this role will also involve analysing and resolving network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training. Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other hardware. Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.
