All formal corporate insolvency appointments are fed into a separate team and so your role will be 100% focused on the delivery of advisory engagements.Overview
The successful individual will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management and delivery of advisory engagements involving underperforming and distressed businesses. The role will include the supervision and development of junior team members, while supporting senior leadership on practice growth, business development, and recruitment initiatives. This is a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making, client relationship development, and operational execution across a diverse portfolio of restructuring assignments.Key Responsibilities
Leading the delivery of advisory engagements, including independent business reviews, options reviews, valuation reviews, cash flow and liquidity assessments, contingency planning, and the review of turnaround plans.Managing engagements for both lender-side and company-side clients across a range of sectors including real estate, consumer retail, healthcare, and industrials.Supporting stakeholders in the development and evaluation of refinancing and debt restructuring strategies.Preparing and reviewing financial models, business plans, and risk assessments in complex and time-sensitive environments.Guiding junior professionals on engagements and contributing to their ongoing training and development.Supporting wider business initiatives including internal operations, marketing, and team resourcing.Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:A strong background in restructuring advisory, ideally gained within a top-tier professional services firm or specialist advisory boutique.Proven experience managing engagements involving underperforming or distressed businesses.Deep technical knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and stakeholder reporting.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.Prior experience leading or mentoring junior staff.Remuneration
