Job SummaryReporting to the Technical Design Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for solar PV installations, working closely with sales, design, and project management teams to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.Key Responsibilities will include:Analysing project specifications, site surveys, and technical drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.Assess material, labour, and subcontractor costs for residential and commercial solar PV projects.Work with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for components and installation services.Prepare and submit detailed proposals and quotations for clients.Collaborate with the sales and installation teams to develop optimised system designs and cost-effective solutions.Stay updated with industry trends, equipment costs, and government incentives affecting solar PV pricing.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.Provide cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations for clients.
