Cost Manager / Cost Engineer - Infrastructure

Proven Cost Managers / Cost Engineers, with experience of working on major infrastructure (water, rail, highways, nuclear, energy, airport) programmes, required for long term contract or permanent opportunities in London. These roles will see you work on a major infrastructure programme which will have a positive impact on communities and the UK economy. Key Responsibilities:Tracking costs on this major programmeValidating costs submitted by contractors against actual spendEnsuring accurate cost management and control throughout the project lifecyclePreparing detailed financial reports and cost forecastsCollaborating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial mattersIdentifying and managing cost-related risks and opportunitiesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date cost documentation and recordsProviding financial insights and recommendations to support project decision-makingJob Requirements:Significant experience in cost management within the infrastructure sector (Energy, Highways, Nuclear, Water, Rail)Ideally, experience with rail infrastructure projectsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailProficiency in cost management software and financial reporting toolsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesUnderstanding of project management methodologies and principlesRelevant degree or professional qualification in cost management or related fieldBenefits:Opportunity to ..... full job details .....
