The role of a Senior Mechanical Engineer:
As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you''ll take ownership of the mechanical design and delivery of projects, including:
- Full mechanical services design - heating, cooling, ventilation and domestic water
- Mechanical calculations using Cymap / IES
- Managing your own projects and resolving technical design challenges
- Producing designs using AutoCAD, with Revit experience advantageous
- Attending project meetings and liaising with clients when required
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers
- Working alongside Mechanical, Electrical, CAD and Revit specialists
You''ll be an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer who is confident, technically capable and comfortable working independently.
Ideally you''ll have:
- Strong Mechanical Building Services design experience
- Experience with IES, Cymap and AutoCAD
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
- CIBSE membership / Chartered status advantageous
- Revit / AutoCAD 3D experience beneficial
- Ground or air-source / renewables experience advantageous
- A positive, practical and collaborative approach
