Capital Project Manager Location: LondonRate: £450 per dayContract: 6 months Spencer Clarke Group are supporting a local authority to appoint a Capital Project Manager within their Property and Asset Management team. This is a capital delivery role, leading major housing and corporate estate works from early planning through to completion and handover. You will coordinate internal teams and external consultants, keep programmes and budgets on track, and ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard with residents kept informed throughout. Responsibilities include Managing capital works projects end to end, from commissioning and scoping through to completion and post-completion actions Acting as Contract Administrator, including running mini-tenders, issuing instructions, chairing site meetings, and managing completion and defects periods Owning project budgets and spend profiles, approving payments, managing variations through change control, and supporting final accounts with the Quantity Surveyor Taking the lead on CDM client responsibilities and actively managing project and site risks Coordinating a multi-disciplinary team including QS, Clerk of Works, resident liaison, technical support, design and external consultants Leading resident and stakeholder engagement, including consultations, leaseholder Section 20 requirements, and responding to member and information requests Supporting procurement and governance activity, including tender ..... full job details .....
