Water Treatment Engineer / Project Engineer Covering Southeast region Kent, Central London, Hertfordshire £35k-£42k DOE Monday Friday Are you a detail-oriented and driven professional with expertise in water treatment and Legionella risk assessments? My client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their expanding team, focusing on pre-mobilisation, design coordination, and project delivery. As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will be: Attending site visits across the UK. Conducting comprehensive Legionella risk assessments compliant with ACoP L8, HSG274, and British Standards. Producing clear, accurate reports with actionable recommendations for clients. Developing and maintain tailored water system control schemes. Performing routine water monitoring and sampling, including temperature checks, dip slides, pH, and conductivity. Executing chlorination, disinfection, and minor plumbing remedial works in accordance with BS 8558. Analysing and dose closed water systems as required. Liaising professionally with clients, providing compliance updates and technical advice. Maintaining detailed service records and logbooks, ensuring compliance with contractual and legislative requirements. Identifying opportunities to improve water system safety and efficiency. Any other duties required. Skills and Qualifications required: City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in Water Treatment, Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
