Alecto Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing team operating across London and the surrounding areas.

As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. You''ll work independently across multiple client sites, ensuring systems run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and maintain refrigeration systems

• Diagnose faults and carry out reactive breakdown repairs

• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

• Work on a range of commercial refrigeration equipment, including:

  • Cold rooms

  • Pack systems

  • Display cabinets

  • Fridges and freezers

• Complete accurate service reports and job documentation

• Ensure all work meets health & safety standards

• Represent the company professionally on client sites

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer

• F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential)

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred)

• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge

• Full UK driving licence

• Able to work independently and manage your workload efficiently
