Project Engineer - Simulation and Test

Essential requirements

• British Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance
• Experience within testing, simulation, systems integration or performance analysis
• Structured approach to technical problem solving and investigation
• Ability to work with complex engineering systems and multiple technical interfaces
• Comfortable working with technical specialists and cross-functional engineering teams

Salary and rewards
Up to -46,000 depending on experience, plus an annual performance-related bonus scheme.

What you will be doing

• Develop and maintain complex real-time simulations used to support system development and validation
• Conduct testing activities using a combination of software models, integrated equipment and representative hardware
• Investigate system behaviour, diagnose issues and support integration activities
• Analyse performance data and produce clear technical reports and recommendations
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across multiple engineering disciplines
• Support the preparation and execution of testing programmes throughout the product lifecycle

Your experience

• System integration and interface troubleshooting experience
• Testing, verification or validation of systems, sub-systems or sensors
• Experience of simulation development or real-time software environments
• Performance analysis and interpretation of technical data
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to varied stakeholders
