Position: Senior Staff Nurse – Acute MedicalLocation: London, The Wellington HospitalHours: Full Time (37.5hrs) per weekContract: PermanentSalary: Competitive and Excellent BenefitsWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Staff Nurse to join our new 14-bed dedicated acute medical ward, supporting our onsite Acute Admission Unit at The Wellington Hospital—the UK’s largest private hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team in an acute medical ward.Plan, deliver, and evaluate care while supervising and guiding junior nurses and temporary staff.Demonstrate exemplary clinical practice at all times to ensure patient safety and well-being.Contribute to the development of clinical standards, policies, procedures, and research-based care initiatives.Develop expertise in complex wound management and tissue viability.Engage in complex discharge planning and geriatric care, delivering patient-centred, holistic care for older adults.Build strong relationships with patients and their families, providing medical and emotional support during transitions home.What you’ll bring
