Primary SEN TeacherLocation: Southampton Contract: Full Time, Long-term, Permanent Salary: M1 UPS3Are you a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? This role would consist of covering a range of subjects up to key stage 2 which a complex SEN class. The school is equipped with excellent resources and they take pride in creating a positive and stimulating learning experience for all learners.Key Responsibilities: Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.Use a range of teaching strategies and methods to meet the diverse needs of students.Collaborate with other staff members, parents, and external professionals to support student progress.Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.Participate in professional development and training as required. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience working with Primary students with SEMH and ASD.Strong understanding of SEN best practices and legal requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
