Reporting to the Head of Accounting, this is a broad senior accounting role with a particular focus on expense management and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, financial control and Accounts Payable. The successful candidate will take ownership of expense reporting and analysis across the business, while also supporting the wider accounting function and supervising junior members of the finance team. The Role Key responsibilities will include: Producing, reviewing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual expense reporting Monitoring actual expenditure against budget, forecast and prior year, providing commentary on key variances and trends Leading the annual expense budgeting and forecasting process Working closely with cost centre owners and other internal stakeholders to review budgets, assumptions and cost drivers Managing accruals, prepayments, cost allocations, estimates and recharges Completing balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations Supporting monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close Overseeing the Accounts Payable function, including supplier invoices, employee expenses and payment processes Reviewing AP workflows and helping to ..... full job details .....
