Graduate Teaching Assistant Immediate start until July 2026 £85 - £100 per day Secondary school, Wednesbury 1:1 and small group support within SENThe Role:You will work within the SEN team to support pupils across KS3 and KS4 who need targeted help to access learning. Your week will include a mix of in-class support and structured 1:1 or small group sessions, built around agreed outcomes. You will help pupils stay organised, start tasks, sustain attention, and complete work with fewer prompts over time. You will adapt support to need, using clear instructions, chunked tasks, visual prompts, planned check-ins, and calm reset routines during lessons and transitions. You will support literacy and numeracy where gaps block access to the curriculum, plus study skills such as planning, editing, and exam preparation routines when appropriate. You will follow pupil plans and strategies set by the SENCO and pastoral teams, then share brief, factual feedback so staff can review impact and adjust support using the assess, plan, do, review cycle.
