This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join at the very beginning, influence the culture, and play a key part in delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people.The Deputy Manager RoleAs a Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the home s leadership and day-to-day operations, ensuring the service is safe, nurturing and fully aligned with Ofsted expectations. You will lead shifts, mentor the staff team, and model best practice while helping establish a positive, trauma-informed home environment.Key Responsibilities for the Deputy Manager Support the RM in the effective running and development of a new children s home (EBD).Help lead, supervise and motivate a growing staff team.Ensure high-quality, child-centred care is delivered at all times.Oversee care planning, safeguarding and risk management.Contribute to Ofsted compliance and quality standards.Participate in on-call responsibilities.Build strong relationships with local authorities, families and external partners.
