Key Responsibilities: Operational Engineering: During your shift, you will carry out engineering tasks and collaborate with the production team to plan activities. Attend breakdowns, troubleshoot faults, and implement solutions with a "first-time fix" mentality. You''ll document all tasks through the CMMS system and manage downtime with the shift supervisor. Planned Preventative Maintenance: Ensure machinery is always in optimal condition by carrying out scheduled maintenance. Document and track all maintenance activities, report any deficiencies to the Engineering Manager, and ensure equipment readiness for the next shift. Site and Engineering Systems Management: Uphold housekeeping standards, and ensure all activities comply with Health and Safety and site procedures. Conduct risk assessments to maintain safety standards. Colleague Development: Provide machine training for production staff, ensuring that all operatives are familiar with machine operations and efficiency.
