About You and the RoleAs Head Bartender at Adalana, you will:Lead the day-to-day bar service, ensuring consistency, quality, and warmth at all timesCreate and refine a drinks menu that complements the brasseries Northern European-inspired cuisineTrain and inspire our Bartenders and Bar Backs, sharing your knowledge and setting high standards in both service and presentationBuild strong relationships with guests, offering genuine recommendations and upselling with careManage stock levels, support ordering, and maintain excellent cleanliness and organisation across the barWork closely with the Restaurant Managers and wider team to shape and elevate the overall guest experienceIdeally have experience using Micros or similar systemsBe flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidaysThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of an opening team where your ideas and leadership will help shape the experience from day one.

About The NewmanThe Newman will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy Adalana, our all-day brasserie inspired by Northern European flavours, and Gambit, our cocktail bar with a local, seasonal edge. The hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
