Your team members are highly collaborative and the work environment is dynamic and stimulating.Main duties and responsibilitiesEnsure guest experience is optimum through focusing on product quality and innovation, service knowledge and execution and atmosphere through housekeeping and maintenanceEnsure that hygiene in back areas of the bar is top standard at all times.Ensure the safe, correct and economic use of the Bar equipment.Uphold and maintain standards at all times in line with the department standard of procedures.Ensure that an excellent level of customer service is maintained at all times.Ensure that the Weights and Measures Act is strictly adhered to.Ensure current licensing laws are strictly adhered to.Ensure that Management is kept well informed of any problems/queries that have risen.Carry out any reasonable request as directed by Management.Assist guests in any type of reasonable request within the organisation capacities.Have in depth knowledge of Classic cocktails and theyre history.Have in depth knowledge of all signature drinks.Serve and prepare drinks with appropriate garnish.Be responsible for taking payments of the items sold.Complete daily cleaning duties and sign off the cleaning checklist before the end of each shiftTo keep in touch with industry trends and ensure that the bars at The Emory product are in line/ahead ofCarry out training sessions with the teamRecord all breakages and wastages through our systemsDevise unique and innovative cocktails for the menuCarry out the end of day banking when requiredCarry out the requisition process when requiredLook at procedures and processes within the operation that can be improved or simplifiedTake responsibility of the bar in the Manager/Assistant Managers absenceTo consistently deliver Emory standards and LQA Standards in all aspects of service deliveryHere at Maybourne, we strive to reward our colleagues for the incredible work they do every single day.
