Security Cleared Data Professional- Defence Programme- London, Derby, Sheffield, Birmingham

Overview
Join a flagship Defence programme contributing to the development and deployment of data management applications within a secure and complex environment. This role offers the opportunity to gain security clearance, work with cutting-edge technologies like Palantir Foundry, and build strategic capabilities in data modelling and application development.Key responsibilities
Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify and prioritise Key User Requirements (KURs)Design and develop data-driven applications and features aligned to user needsBuild and manage data pipelines for ingestion and live data integrationLead application/feature deployment through the Go Live processConduct user trials and demonstrations to refine product functionalityEnsure architectural coherence across a portfolio of applicationsScope and define requirements for new applications or enhancementsOperate or learn to operate Palantir Foundry as part of the delivery stackWork on site in Derby 2/3 days per week with potential travel to other sites when requiredMaintain a current UK Security ClearanceQualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Computer ScienceStrong understanding of data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical)Experience in building scalable, efficient data systems and architecturesAbility to perform data profiling and resolve data quality issuesExperience in application design and developmentGeneral SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person) in data modelling and engineeringDesirable skills
Experience with Palantir FoundryPrior experience in Defence environmentsFamiliarity with secure data handling and Defence digital standardsWhy Apply?
