We’re working with a primary school in Stockport looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who can support pupils that need a bit more guidance, structure and encouragement to thrive.

You’ll be supporting children with additional needs – this could be ASD, SEMH, ADHD or speech and communication needs.

Your day might involve:

• Working 1:1 with a pupil who needs extra support
• Helping children manage emotions and stay engaged
• Breaking down learning so it’s accessible and achievable
• Being a consistent, positive role model
• Supporting the class teacher and SENCO

• Calm under pressure and naturally patient
• Someone who can build trust quickly with children
• Confident managing behaviour in a positive, structured way
• Experience in schools, care, youth work or similar is a big plus
• You’ve got a DBS (or happy to get one sorted)

• You’ll see real progress in the children you support

Pay: £90–£110 per day
