Position: Assistant Health and Safety ManagerLocation: BalhamSalary: Up to £40,000A leading, highly reputable Main Contractor who specialise in external refurbishment and have worked on a number of larger projects throughout London.They have a strong background and experience in Quality repair work to masonry, Façade cleaning, Window repair and replacement, roofing works and architectural and ornamental leadwork.They have developed into a reputable organisation who offer ground-breaking and value solutions for all clients.Due to their success and strong turnover whilst delivering outstanding results, they now have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Health and Safety Manager to join them on permanent basis, overseeing a range of schemes.Health and Safety ResponsibilitiesEnsure health, safety, environmental legislation, codes of practice are being followed and put in place.Make sure relevant information and support to site teams in order to accomplish to complete and complete projects correctly.Recognise and act on areas for improvementCarry out health and safety trainingUndertake site inspections and audits and close out to ensure compliance.Encourage positive Health and Safety atmosphere.Personal Specification and RequirementsHighly motivated with strong desire to grow within the businessGood problem solver and work with minimal instructionPunctual, reliable and good practical skillsAble to work autonomously on more than one project at a timeRelevant working experience in the construction/restoration industryExceptional attention to detailThis is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is seeking a Career Progression and looking for a good work life balance.
